Meet Mrs. Lewis

Hello, I am Heather Lewis and I am so excited to be teaching 5th Grade at Greenwood Laboratory School. This is my fifth year of teaching. I am a 2005 graduate of Bolivar High School, 2007 graduate of Coffeyville Community College of Coffeyville, Kansas where I received my Associates Degree, and a 2010 graduate of Missouri State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. In addition I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum at Drury University last December.  

In my spare time I enjoy spending every spare minute with my son Cole and my husband Josh. I also enjoy being outdoors, shopping, cooking, and reading. My husband and I have 2 dogs, Daisy and Scout, a horse, Colonel, and Holstein cattle.  We love being outdoors, working on our farm, fishing, and hunting. I love Peanut M&M’s, baseball, Paula Deen, Robert Munsch books, Caramel, Steak and Potatoes, Cheesecake, Mexican and Chinese Food! I am super excited about starting another school year and cannot wait to see what it has in store for us all!
